Amigo Club
In the Spanish language, “Amigo” means “friend.” Jesus said to His disciples in John 15:15 “I call you friends.” Jesus had developed a close relationship with the disciples, opening His heart to each of them. He shared with them what He was hearing from His Father. Amigos of Roca Blanca are those who want to have a closer connection with our ministry. They are ones with whom we open our hearts in a special way.
Roca Blanca is changing the course of history in Oaxaca (the poorest state in Mexico). People are starving both physically and spiritually, but this is changing as the gospel is preached throughout the region. Thousands of people are hearing the Good News of the Lord Jesus Christ for the first time and God’s blessing is coming to the land and the economy of Oaxaca.
However, to accomplish the vision of Roca Blanca, resources are required far beyond what is available here in Oaxaca. Base operations still require funding from “Amigos” in the United States. Amigo Club Members are those who give $40 monthly toward the general operating expenses of the Roca Blanca Mission Base. Amigos help pay for the cost of utilities, food, salaries, and the maintenance of Roca Blanca’s facilities and vehicles. For the year of 2006, the weekly budget for operating expenses is $7,000. With 700 Amigos giving $40 monthly ($10 a week), the weekly operating costs will be completely covered!

By becoming an Amigo Club partner, you will receive a bi-monthly Amigo letter that shares “amigo stories”, and real-life testimonies of things that have happened to us at Roca Blanca. These stories talk about the times of danger where Jesus brought great deliverance, humerous missionary stories that will make you laugh out loud, and sometimes shocking stories that will leave you at a loss for words. At times you will also receive DVDs or videos so you can see and experience daily life and events at Roca Blanca.
