I. Basic Fundamentals of Doctrine that Mision Victoria A.R. adheres to.
Declaration of Faith
We believe:
- 1. In the verbal and inerrant inspiration of the Bible, our infallible rule of faith and conduct, superior to reason and conscience. (2 Ti. 3:15-16; 2 Peter 1:21)
- 2. In God
In one eternal God that consists of three persons called: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Dt. 6:4; Mr. 12:29; Is. 43:10-11; Mt. 28:19).
- 3. The deity of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is the only son of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, who died by crucifixion, was buried, and rose from the dead. Who ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our intercessor. (Mt. 1:23; Lc. 1:31, 35; I Cor. 15:3; II Cor. 5:21; Mt. 28:6; Lc.24:39; I Cor. 15:4; Acts 1:9-10; Acts 2:33; Phil. 2:9-11, He.1:3)
- 4. That we have all sinned and are separated from the Glory of God and that repentance is declared by God as necessary, the only way to receive forgiveness of our sins. (Mr. 1:15; Ro. 10:9)
- 5. That the justification, regeneration, and new birth are worked out through faith in the Blood of Jesus Christ. (Ro. 5:1; Jn. 3:3,5; Ro. 3:24; I Jn. 1:7)
- 6. In the subsequent sanctification at the new birth by the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit. (I Peter 1:15; I Thess. 4:3, 5:23; I Peter. 1:2; He. 12:14; I Peter. 1:16). The reception is immediate and development is progressive.
- 7. In the baptism with the Holy Spirit, Subsequent to the cleaning of the heart. (Joel 2:28; Acts 1:5; Mt. 3:11; Acts 2:39; Jn. 14:17). It is to give power to the believers to live and serve.
- 8. In the diversity of gifts given by the Holy Spirit, among them: Word of knowledge, word of discernment, word of faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discernment of spirits, tongues, interpretation of tongues. (I Cor. 12:8, 7:7, 12:4, 14:1; I Peter 4:10).
- 9. In the constitution of the ministers of the church: Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. (Eph. 4:11; I Cor. 12:5)
- 10. In the baptism in water by immersion and in that all that repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Mt. 28:19; I Peter 3:21; Ro. 6:4).
- 11. In the Lord’s Holy Super (Mt. 26:26-28; Jn. 6:53-56; Lc. 22:19-20; I Jn. 1:7; I Cor. 11:24, 31).
- 12. In the divine healing, provided for all by the death and expiation of Christ. (Is. 53:4-5; I Peter 2:24; Mr. 16:17:18; Mt. 18:8; James 5:14-16; Acts 4:10). Without a doubt we do not oppose the intervention of medical science in favor of the convalescent.
- 13. In the second coming of Christ. (Jd. 14; Jer. 30:7; Rev. 6, 12:12; I Thess. 4:13; Zac. 14:3-5, Rev. 20:3, 19:15-16). It is impossible to know the date of the return of the Lord, regardless of whether it is based on visions, prophecies, or personal analysis. (Mt. 24:36; Acts 1:6-7; II Thess. 2:1-4).
- 14. In the Final Judgment.
There will be a final judgment in which those who have died will be resurrected and judged by their works, the devil and his demons, the beast, the false prophet and all that has not been recorded in the book of life, will be consigned to eternal perdition in the lake that burns with sulfur and fire, this is the second death. (Rev. 19:20; 20:10-15, 21:8; Mt. 25:46; Mr. 9:43-48; Jn. 5:28-29).
- 15. New heaven and New Earth.
“We after His promise wait for New Heavens and New Earth, in which dwells righteousness.” (II Peter 3:13; Rev. 21:22).
- 16. In the restoration of all things, of which God spoke through the mouth of the saints prophets that haven been since times of old. (Acts. 3:21)
- 17. In the different forms of directing, adoring, and worshiping God all mighty (Dance, raising of hands, shouts of jubilee, prostration, etc.) Jn. 4:23-24.
- 18. In the calling of the minister by God in different forms, including of women. (I Cor. 12:18, 27, 28; Ro. 16:1).
- 19. In the respect and honor of the country, it’s government, symbols, and magna carta. (Mt. 22:21; Mr. 12:17; Lc. 20:25; I Tim. 2:1-3).
- 20. The Sacred Scriptures (Bible), complete fundamental, unique base of our beliefs, divided in two parts: Old and New Testament; made up of the 66 canon books, in which is contained the plan of salvation, redemption, and sanctification that God has established for the human being.
