Mission:
The House of Worship and Prophetic Music (CAMP) has as its principal purpose to raise up worship leaders and prophetic musicians, in a spirit of excellence, to be able to establish the Glory of God in every local church in the state of Oaxaca, the nation of Mexico and to the ends of the earth.
God is rising up a prophetic army that takes His glory to the nations. CAMP is a ministry program of two or three years in length, that trains men and women who are called by God to serve in their churches in the ministry of Praise and Worship. We train worshipers in the technical and spiritual aspects of the ministry so that God can manifest His Glory in the local church through the praise and worship of His people.
CAMP helps students to grow in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, in their ability to hear and follow the voice of the Holy Spirit, in their ability on their instrument and in their understanding of music.
Requirements:
1. That Jesus Christ is your personal Lord and savior.2. Have your pastor fill out a Pastoral recommendation.
3. That you are 18 years old.
4. That you pass the entrance exam at the end of the first year of Biblical Studies.
Classes:
First Year: Bible Classes in the Victory Bible Institute, plus 6 hours weekly of music classes. We believe that it is very important that each music minister have a firm foundation in the Word of God.Second Year: Personal classes on your instrument, Direction of Praise and Worship, Leadership, Administration, Introduction to Audio, Ear Training, Theory, Voice, Rhythm and Solfeo, Tabernacle of Moses, Tabernacle of David, Harp and Bowl, Character of the Musician, The Prophetic Flow, Ensembles, Choir and Computer Class for Musicians.
Third Year: Personal classes on your instrument, Dictation, Rhythm and Solfeggio, Harmony, Composition, Electric Bass, Drums, Piano, Guitar and History of Music in the Bible. Students will also be involved in teaching instrumental classes to first year students.
Cost:
For people coming from churches not under the Misión Victoria A.R. covering, the cost is $200 dollars for each 10-week period.Guest Speakers:
The special guest speakers that we have for the 2008-2009 school year are: Janet Shell (Professional prophetic violinist), Don Pope (Professional prophetic saxophonist), Willie Davis (Professional pianist who toured with Christian artist Carman), Lic. Magdiel Salmerón (Professional pianist with Jaime Murrel), Godofredo González (Professional pianist with Danilo Montero), Alberto de la Puente (minister and audio engineer) among others.Missions exists because not everyone is worshiping the Lord Jesus. The state of Oaxaca, Mexico has been known for its idolatry. Today, however, the Spirit of God is moving across this great state and many people are coming to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord. People who once worshiped dead, false gods are now turning and worshiping the Living God!
